I rented a garden tool trailer to haul the body down to the
sand blaster.  I will never forget all the thumbs up I got
while on the way there.


There was a body shop right around the corner from
the sand blaster so Colorworks in Huntington
Beach got the task of primering the car, fixing what
little cancer there was (in front of the rear tire here)
and of course, chopping.

While the body work was being done, I worked on the dash.
When it was first suggested that I might use the new Classic Mooneye gauges,
I was less than enthusiastic.  But the more I thought about it the more I liked the idea.
